For me, this oil also easily passes off as a substitute for olive oil. It is mild and slightly nutty. Thistle oil is excellent with all sugary vegetables such as carrots or peas. In dressing it works well, especially in summer salads with fruits. It acts as a natural flavour enhancer and can also be used very well in desserts, as it is subtly mild. Considering the positive properties of thistle as a medicinal plant, there is no reason not to include it in your daily diet.
