Tip: Vinegar - the invigorating element

Vinegars and balsamicos are ideal for developing an aroma or ensuring the perfect balance in taste. Pödör offers an unbelievable variety at a high level. Acid is an important flavour enhancer in cooking. A few drops of vinegar bring a dish to life. At a recent Flying Dinner we cooked celeriac in a vacuum bag with nothing more than butter, hay and salt. Afterwards we only drizzled a few drops of Pödör Balsamico Crema apple over it. This balsamic vinegar has matured for 5 years in wooden barrels and, in addition to the enormous intensity of taste, it has a wonderful consistency, which is as if made to set a decorative and taste-intensive exclamation mark. A dash of apricot vinegar, raspberry balsamic vinegar or blackcurrant in a sauce enhances its flavour.
