Sesame seed pesto spaghetti

On busy weekdays, a quick but delicious food recipe is always welcome. If you have some home-made pesto in the fridge, it is child’s play to prepare this sesame seed pesto spaghetti  – taking just a few minutes.

Production

In a pot, bring  2 l water to a boil, together with the salt. When the water is boiling, drop into it the spaghetti and cook it al dente. When it is done, drain it.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. In a small pan, at very low heat, sear them very briefly on 1-2 tsp sesame seed oil.

Toss the pasta together with the pesto, and serve it with the seared tomatoes.
